I spoke with Macwarehouse, assured me they definitely had stock. Ordered one from there as well as PC World Bus (yest) jsut in case.

If I get two I'll offload one on here at cost for local pickup.

I spoke to them about 15 mins ago. The lady who served me said the system was showing all models out of stock with the exception of black 64gb wifi version. I have ordered one of these for delivery tomorrow. However was told it was definitely not available for in store pick up----had to home delivered?

So PC World are unable to confirm that they have allocated stock for yesterdays order, I have to wait to see if I get a tracking number. Great, expected nothing less from them. I much prefer John Lewis as a company so have ordered one from them for collection tomorrow.

Just to let you guys know I ordered my iPad 2 from pc world online on Saturday followed by 2 processing emails, this morning I have called them, the advisor assured me they have released the item to the courier and I will recieve a dispatch email either today or tomorrow!

JL online mate. 16gig white was OOS when i first looked but refreshed and hey presto.

If its not there when I go to collect there will be fury that this world has never witnessed

Bloody PC World - ordered friday - very happy with myself - but was away all weekend - got email this am to say my order was cancelled as they couldnt call me for a security check.......the number on the order was my work number - so of course they couldnt get me over the weekend !!!!!!!!

I wanted a 3G model which seems impossible.......not sure to just get wifi.

Ordered 17:54 yesterday from Macwarehouse and they have confirmed I have been allocated one.

They are going through a list of phoning people for security reasons and I am further down that list as I never asked for next day delivery (I have an Ipad 2 this one is for the wife and she can wait!!! ).

I ordered mine at 10:30 this morning.

I ordered by phone and was told that the £10 next day delivery was applicable when ordering by phone as they send everything out for next day delivery.

They actually just phoned (well they said it was PC World but were aka Macwarehouse) and confirmed delivery for tomorrow.
