D-Sub Adaptor

Hi everyone

When I am using the xbox 360 every so often the screen goes blank for 3-5 secs. A friend brought his Wii round and since this uses a different connection there was no picture loss. I think it could be the 3 RCA to 15 pin D-Sub Adaptor, but I've been unable to purchase one, the tv is a Sharp
LC-42XD1EA, any help much appreciated

thanks in advance

Donec

Re: D-Sub Adaptor

Where can I get an adaptor from as I've had know luck so far? I know they can't be a rare commodity! I've even e-mailed the firm that is listed as the supplier to Sharp, not even a reply!

Re: D-Sub Adaptor

Not sure what your mate was using but it would be alot easier for you to buy the 360 VGA lead, which has the D-sub connection. Not to mention you should be able to get better picture quality.

Re: D-Sub Adaptor

Presumably your TV can accept a component signal via the VGA connector? I would try a rojector retailer as they're often an optional accessory on projectors. I would look into the problem with the component input though.

Re: D-Sub Adaptor

Thanks for the advice, yes, the tv accepts a component signal via the VGA connector. The Wii connects via an RGB scart, also, the D-Sub came with the tv.

Thanks again
