Does anyone know where I can buy one of these - maplin do a 2m one but so far I haven't been able to find anything longer.

CPC do a 3M one...

You might be better off making one. Just buy the plug and a suitable length of flex.

You can make it exactly the right length then and thread it through small holes if necessary.

The right angled IEC will be a slight problem because most of the large outlets like farnell charge lots of postage on orders below £35-£40.00, I will send you one gratis and a mains plug if you send me a couple of quid for the postage and jiffy bag, you will just need to go to b&q or wilkinson and get 5 metres of cable, sorted!
