PC Nedion 6486 to Samsung HT AS710 AMP

I have the Medion 6486 PC with 7.1 channel realtek output. I want to connect this to the Samsung HT-AS710

http://downloadcenter.samsung.com/co...9/EN/main.html

Do I need to connect it to the analogue 5.1 inputs and if this is the case what leads to I need or am I completely wrong??

I have been trying to figure it out but am getting nowhere fast so any help much appreciated.

Without knowing exactly the type of sound card (is it a separate card or motherboard?) I can't say for sure but if it has the coloured analogue line out connectors, then you will need 3 x 3.5mm to phono leads for 5.1. Clicky

There is a sound card forum, do a search on there for your particular PC to be sure.
