FW cable

Folks ,
i need a 3 metre 9 pin to 4 pin firewire cable to hook up my camcorder to my pc,but i'm having trouble locating one.Can anyone point me in the right direction.

Are you sure you need a 9 pin firewire cable? 9 pin firewire (aka firewire 800) is a new standard for higher speed connection and not required for camcorders. The standard for camcorders is 4 pin (cam end) to 6 pin (desktop PC) or 4 pin (laptop PC).
Also it is highly recommended that you don't use a firewire cable longer than 1.8m due to signal loss over longer lengths. Longer leads will often result in the connection not working.

If you do need a 9 pin firewire cable then I found one Here for about £11 but it is only 1.8m long. Or for £20 there is a 3m cable Here.
