I have a xbox 360 system with my htp gs1 xbox 5.1 system. 1 lead from xbox 360 to the 5.1.

there are 2 inputs so can i put 1 in to my virgin + hd box and get surround sound?

what if i want 5.1 from my dvd player is that possible what do i need?!!

Yes run another optical cable from your v+ box for DD 5.1 s/s. If your DVD player only has optical outputs, you could use an optical splitter to share one of the inputs. Alternatively you could use an optical to co-ax converter (with one of each cable). If the DVD player has co-ax out (it's a RCA connection and usually coloured orange, I think) use a co-ax cable. Try Profigold , they're cheap and well built for the price.
