RGB to Component Convertor

I have been trying to find an RGB to Component convertor that also includes connections for the Audio part of an RGB Scart.

I know QED make one to convert RGB Scart to Component but they do not provide provision for the Audio part.

I came across JS Technology RGB to Component convertor and this seems to fit my requirement perfectly. RGB Scart to Component conversion and untouched Audio pass through to RCA Phono connectors

Has anyone got ones of these?? Can you tell me your experience of this product. Does it work as good as it says. Do you notice improvement in Video signal

Or does anyone have a product similar to this they might like to suggest.

Many thanks in advance.

Re: RGB to Component Convertor

What you put in is what you get out as far as video quality is concerned, a converter does not make the picture better. If you explained exactly what you are trying to connect up then you may find some good answers.

Re: RGB to Component Convertor

The feed will be RGB Scart from Digi Box to Component Input on AV Receiver and from there to LCD TV

So all i am really trying to do is convert RGB Scart to Component+Audio to connect in to AV Receiver.

Re: RGB to Component Convertor

Hello *coops*

Odd I know but the lack of 'recent' Posts about RGB2YUV conversion is a sign that these devices are used/required less often than they were say two years ago.

The JS Technology converter is very clean - you wont have any problems with it in terms of Audio or Video; lots of AVForums Members use or have used them.

The Converter can 'improve' the Input signal if the voltage of the Input signal is not on Spec (quite common with low quality Digibox and DVD Players) - the Converter will ensure the Output signal is in decent shape when it arrives at your Display.
