KVM extender?

hope this is in the right place

I'm looking to connect a notebook to a monitor and link box over a distance of about 20m. would a KVM extender be the best way of doing this? I need to extend a USB cable, an audio cable (3.5mm), a series cable (9-pin D-sub) and a VGA cable (three-row 15 pin). Can anyone recommend anything? is there any way of doing this wireless?

any help would be great

Re: KVM extender?

Hello thelonious

Have a look at Gefen - see http://www.gefen.com/kvm/cav-extenders.jsp

Lots of options available from the likes of AutoPATCH, Extron, Kramer ...

Wireless PC Video is very limited in terms of Resolution and Framerate - the control/audio side is 'slightly' easier on Wireless.

Re: KVM extender?

KVM extender allows you to extend PS2 keyboard, PS2 mouse and VGA video remotely up to 1000 feet away from a computer.
