Cable options for Kef setup

Hi Guys,

Been researching this but can't find a definitive answer so thought I'd try my luck. Basically I've got the following setup:

Yamaha DSPAX757SE
1x Kef iQ2c (Center)
2x Kef iQ5 (Fronts)
2x Kef iQ1 (Rears)

I need some cable to go with these but not sure what the best option is. QED Silver Anniversary gets good reviews regularly, but my system is a bit on the bright side (currently using QED Micro cable) and would like to know if there is anything else that might make it sound a little more "natural".

Looking to spend sub £10 a metre, also not sure if this should be bi-wired etc? Don't see what difference that makes but I'm sure my Amp/Speakers support this.

Cheers,
Chris

Re: Cable options for Kef setup

Can I bump this conversation? I don't have exactly the same setup, but I do have a yamaha amp, Genie sat speakers and use QED Micro cable and find it a little "bright".

I've just moved house and I need new cable to reach the extra distance around the lounge and I am wondering about replacing the micro with Silver anni, possibly for just the front speakers.

I've also moved somewhere with laminate flooring rather than carpet so I was wondering what people thought I should do? More micro for the rears and "upgrade" to silver anni for the fronts/center? Or should I even consider getting some floorstanders for the front? Decisions, decisions

Chord Company Rumour pairs well with the Kef's. No experience of what that will do in combination with the Yamaha though.
