Help please ive been looking for a cable to connect my amp to my dvd player but not to sure which is better a digital coax or a optical cable any advise please or are they about the same.

For short lengths (less than 5m), it makes little to no difference.

I prefer coax simply cos they don't fall out much like optical cables. Also, I've had optical connections fail on my amp but I've never had a problem with coax.

I prefer iLink but that's because I got a free cable with my DVD player
