Good speaker cable advice for centre and front speakers?

Hi guys,

I have the B&W CM Series speakers with a Marntz SR5300 & DV4300 and am looking for some advice for my 2 rears and centre speaker. At the moment I do not have the Centre speaker as I am saving up (Using another centre for the time being).

At the moment my two front speakers are using Van Den Hull M.C. Teatrack cable - it sounds pretty good but I'm no expert. Anyway.

Can anyone suggest a decent speaker cable for my centre speaker (around the 15 pound mark per meter. I guess a decent speaker cable for the front speakers at around 10/15 pounds.

Any suggestions welcome.
Andrew

Try Van Damme, Twin and Earth or even CAT5 see if you notice a difference.

If you are happy with the Van Den Hull for the fronts then just pick up some extra for the center and save yourself some money.

I personally dont find that there is much difference between the budget and exotic cabling. Silver vs copper types will sometimes give you a different sound but not always for the better. Quality of construction and thickness (2.5mm or higher) are probably more important especially on longer runs.

For the rears Van Damme blue comes highly recommended in these forums.
Do a search or check out the cable power buy area.

If you still have the upgrade bug for something more expensive then try to borrow some cables from a local hifi store before splashing out
