High quality audio ICs - ok for comoponent video?

Hey guys,

I've just got a new zektor switch through the post which I want to setup in my system. I bought a "pure A/V" component lead, but the RCA jacks on it are the kind I hate - a really tight fit that clasps the inputs. I don't like using them as I'm worried I'll bust a jack... I don't have anymore, but I do have some high quality Gotham GAC-1 audio cable I'm not using at the moment - would this do for transmitting component video? It's only 480p at present, so the bandwidth shouldn't be too high.

Dawson

Well, i've set it up and the picture looks fine to me. The picture does seems a little sharper with better colour, compared to the cheap passive switch I was using before. All good IMO
