Cabeling for Projector | Xbox360 / SkyHD / Home Cinema etc..

Hiya.

A few years ago now I bought a HD Ready projector, and as I was cheap I bought one without a HDMI input (only component / Svideo / The composit video etc...)

Now usually this is not a problem because I just move the Xbox etc.. over whne I want to play it and set everything up, and take it down when finished, however the wife is now getting involved.

So I now have the problem of having to find a set-up that is ready all year around and tidy.

Can I buy / make extention cables for the component leads for the Xbox 360?

I did have a quick look on maplins but couldnt see anything. I am reasonably compitent at making cables so I could make them myself, but do I have a limit on lenth ? as I need to have the Projector behind me, and the sound system it will be using is infront of me. I dont really want to have to put the 360 on a shelf above my head and run an extention for the audio etc...

Can I get a HDMI to component converter at a reasonable price? I ask because I would like if possible to run the Sky into the projecter using HD, and as I have a Samsung box I only have a HDMI output, so I am stuck with that one.

Many thanks in advance to anyone who can point me in the right direction.
