I try to stay away from outright telling people what they should do with their money!

I feel most comfortable helping people find information and letting them make their own minds up.
Have a read around these forums. It seems to me that a growing number of people are beginning to agree with the collective evidence that where speaker cable is concerned, cross sectional area is the most important factor to consider, and that only poorly designed cables are audibly distinguishable (that phrase is borrowed from Audioholics).
My
personal opinion therefore is that the Atlas cable you link to is about £12 more expensive per metre than it needs to be. I just can't see any advantage over an inexpensive 2.5mm cable, which you can get for less than £1 per metre. The Van Damme range of speaker cable is popular on here as far as branded cables go, and weighs in at less than £2 per metre.
You asked whether it would 'be fine' and the answer is of course, 'Yes'. But will it do the job any better than a massively cheaper well-engineered cable? In my opinion, no.
