Ford Focus Mk2 Bluetooth / Double Din options

I currently have a Focus MkII with a Sony CD MP3 stereo (the one with the glass finish - 6006 is it?).

Although it has a 'Phone' button on the front this merely mutes the stereo. Is there a bluetooth adaptor that can be fitted to this head unit?

Alternatively I would be quite interested in having a double din unit installed. My understanding is that a double din unit is slightly narrower then the standard installed unit. What sort of finish do you get with the fascia adaptors that are available? If anyone has any pictures of their conversions I would be interested to see them.

You might want to speak to normjohn about bluetooth... He had a thread along similar lines but I don't think he could get a straight answer from ford.

Might be worth seeing if he found an alternative though.

As for the Double Din...
Jamz has a picture in this thread.

Not sure if thats a mkii or iii (or even if theres any significant difference).

EDIT: Yeah... just looked again and that double din picture is definitely a mkii

Cheers
Aaron.

Re: Ford Focus Mk2 Bluetooth / Double Din options

We too have a 2009 Ford Focus Titanium fitted with the 6000CD unit with instructions in the 'Audio System' manual page 10 which indicates how to get to the 2nd level functions 'Bluetooth Enable/Disable' but no way can I find this option. Ford are also not forthcoming. Has anyone managed to find a way around this or an adapter please?
