Can you fix brackets to the side of double din units?

I have a 2003 CRV with a faulty (again) double din Sat Nav which I am considering swapping out for a new unit.

I have managed to remove the unit and bought the Honda to ISO interface lead but need some advice before I take the plunge and buy. The existing unit has a bracket screwed onto each side which, when the unit is put back in the dash allows it to be screwed in place (a large bit of dash facia then goes over the top). Do replacement head units have the holes so I can fix the brackets or do I need to try and fit the sleeve that comes with the new unit?

Unfortunately, the units I have seen on display or browsed the manuals on line do not show the sides. Any help greatly appreciated.

Yes, most double din units do have side mounting holes as there are many vehicles that have mounting brackets, Honda and Toyota being two.
