I have a HTC Desire that I got from o2 that has o2 branding/splash screen, and which I have used with a o2 simpicity sim. Ive just got the £10 per month Tesco mobile pay monthly deal with 500mins, unlimted texts and 500mb data.
Ive found some tesco apn settings & the internet seems to be working (unless its working of my wi-fi, but my wifi appears to be off?) I have no icon near the signal bar saying what my phone is using? with o2 I would have "H" "G" or "E" I cant see anything though, anybody know how I can find out what the phone is using to connect to the internet if those symbols aint there?
I also have a notification:
Sign-in error for *********@gmail.com (my gmail account, that I use to go on the market, etc, set up with my o2 chip) I click the notification and it asks for my password, when I click okay I get........
"Google sign-in: There was a network error while trying to sign in to ******@gmail.com. Retry now or press the Back button to cancel." and whn I press "retry" the same thing happens. I logged into my gmail account by my pc to check im entering the correct password? any advice? is it because I changed sim card?
Ive just put my o2 sim back in and I'm getting the same error message, any advice or help appreciated Edit: It does log in with my o2 sim card, I just never switched the APN settings back to the o2 ones
