HTC Hero SIM free. What's the best price?

I've been trawling around online trying to find this handset for under £350 - brown handset colour of choice. Best price I can find is £369 on play with 3.5% on quido. Does this seem reasonable, or has anyone picked up a better price? I would comprosimse on the colour if the handset was a lot cheaper but the pink one is out of the question.
I would have gone contract, but I lost my Omnia (thankfully insured) and I'm months away from an upgrade - vodafone aren't even stocking it so it seems SIM free is the only way to go.

Amazon price seems to have come down today. I'm sure it was 370 there yesterday but now £340.77 (free delivery). Proper amazon and not marketplace. It looks like the silver model which might be a shout. Decisions decisions....

£369.99 on Play.com. They have white in stock only though.

Couldn't beat the amazon price so I gave up trying to find the brown one. Silver at £340 seem like a decent price sim free so amazon got the sale.
Looking forward to playing with the new toy when it gets here.

There isn't a "Silver" one AFAIK...White, Brown, Pink & Graphite.

Odd - the picture on amazon looks silver, but from reading the customer discussions link on there, it seems that no one knows what colour they are supplying. As long as it isn't pink...

Sweet - I can live with that. On further investigation the product numbers seem to match the white one selling on amazon.com. Only a few more days of living with the useless brick of a temp phone I've been stuck with since the loss of my Omnia.

Now what will be doing the rounds at upgrade time next year?? Not even got my Hero and I'm already thinking about what's next.....I'm such a techtoy floozy

My Hero turned up yesterday (it was the white one from Amazon) so I've been having a lot of fun playing around with it. Off to find some threads on what's best to tinker with and read up on apps.

On the off chance anyone else is looking for one - Amazon price went back up to £360 so Handtek probably the best price at the moment.
