My friend here in Qatar has purchased a HTC Magic from Vodafone Qatar (all are sold SIM FREE) and now found out he cannot use Android Market why I dont know????? He wants me to bring from UK a HTC Tattoo question is as it will be purchased sim free will he be able to get Apps through Android Market, the Android phones are new here so not alot is known on the workings of the Android Market.
Another question If I took his Vodafone Magic to the UK would I be able to download Apps from Android Market using a Vodafone UK PAYG sim.
Any help advise appreciated.

No takers on this one?? I found this on the net quote "if you can get your hands on a UK or German sim pop it in the Magic and download the APP" so maybe this has answered my question.
The Tattoo idea has gone to the wall as it seems there are only a few APPS that will work on its smaller screen.
