I would assume Moosh is referring to the tight Google integration.
To get the best out of Android you need a Googlemail account. The two are synchronised so your contacts, calendar etc are in-sync and available via your Googlemail account. You also need this to make purchases via Google Checkout.
There is also integration with Google reader, Doc's etc.
Many people have a fear of Cloud Computing and are under the impression that their personal data is being sold to Russian crooks. But this is the future and this will become the norm.... Cloud Computing that is, not the Russian crook bit...
I think it's brilliant. I can manage my contacts and calendar online and it's instantly reflected on my phone. I also give my Mrs' access and she can add things I need to know about. It also means that if I lose my phone or it stops working, I don't have to worry about having an up-to-date backup on my PC.
It's personal opinion and entirely down to what you're comfortable with. For me, it's a huge selling point. For others and I think Moosh is included in this, it's a reason to stay away. There is no right and wrong
