As title. Why when my google account is syncronising does it only update my phone with what i've added on my pc and not vice versa?

If i add a contact or calendar event on my phone, It doesn't update on my pc?

Is this right?

No, that is not right.

The only issue I recall immediately was a hack to help stuck market downloads doing something similar.

What model and software version do you have?

After a bit of messing,I've managed to update new contacts from phone to google contacts and vice versa but i cant get my old existing contacts (from my old phones sim) to sync.
Is there any way of doing this??

Have you got them showing on your phone? Contacts>Menu button>Import contacts.

If you've already done that and they are just not syncing, then choose "edit sync groups".

someone on here helped me with this same problem so i can't take credit for this - there's an app you can download from the market place called something like 'exportcontacts' which creates a small CSV file which you can then copy over to your pc, go into gmail/contacts/import/select CSV file... sync with phone and bobs your auntie!
