alarm clock volume

does anyone know how to set the alarm clock volume? There does not seem to be one, its really loud

That'll wake you up then!

On the Hero (and you don't say which phone you're using) use the volume control on the left hand side of the phone when setting the alarm.

found it, you change the volume when selecting the alarm sound by pressing the volume control on the side
