I have a Hero on orange, and love it.

Problem is the phone reception in my house is rubbish. If I stick the phone out the upstairs window I get a few bars (as well as looking stupid!), and if I stick the phone right next to the window I get some signal.

I have put the orange sim in my nokia, and it is a little better. Has anybody got any suggestions?

i had the same problem, got the hero on orange after looking at the ofcom 3g maps orange looked pretty good, but only 1 bar at home. I put the sim in my N73 & got nearly full bars.

I sent the phone back & looking to get the phone on vodafone.

Check the ofcom site for the 3g maps to see who has the best coverage & check with the mobile operator for a coverage check & then change networks.
