Copilot 8 Routing

I've just put Copilot on my HTC Hero but I have a problem

When routing from BS34 7NE, to TR13 0PP it refuses to use the M5, instead taking an A road that runs parallel to it.

I've tried it with UK maps and European maps.

Does anyone else have this problem (would appreciate if you can try it with the above postcodes)

Has it got an option to swap between quickest route or shortest route? Maybe that would help?

Anyway, if I were you, I'd forget copileofsh*t and get tomtom. Anything else is inferior. Tomtom is simple, user friendly and pretty reliable. That's why it's the most popular.

If love to have tomtom instead of copilot but at the moment it's not available.

Turns out that the route does acutally follow the M5. It's just that the low resolution of the M5 (made up of a few straight lines) means that the road isnt always under the highlighted route.

Also it thinks it takes 4 hours, where in real life it takes just over 3.

Still, problem solved
