HTC Hero - Reception right after hanging up...

Hi,

I must admit that the general reception of the Hero has increased since the update, however I still have one problem.

When I call someone and hang up (couldnt get the person) and the person calls back more or less right away, the call goes straight onto the answer phone... Seems like it takes long to kindo off reset itself...

Does anyone else have this problem?

Markus

Re: HTC Hero - Reception right after hanging up...

I've not had any problems with missed calls at all. I haven't had anyone call me immediately after hanging up a call, so I couldn't say if that's a problem for me too. I'll see if I can get that tested.

EDIT- Just tested it and calls immediately after hanging up rang on my phone as they should. so it doesn't look as though it's a standard Hero issue. I'm not on Orange though, so it may be an Orange thing.

Re: HTC Hero - Reception right after hanging up...

Is anyone still having the 'missed calls' problem as I am ... I have an unlocked Hero (updated with recent ROM) using a T-Mobile SIM and I am getting missed calls (followed up by a text msg telling me this) plus I sometimes can hear my voice thru the ear speaker as I speak and sometimes I can only hear myself and not the person on the other end ... this has also happened to one person who rang me ... they could only hear themselves.

This is really bugging me and I think I is the phone rather than any provider troubles.

Anybody with the same problem? anyone managed to fix it or get any progress on why its happening.

p.s. I reboot every day now and I also kill unwanted tasks periodically ... plus if I am waiting for an important call I swap the T-Mobile SIM into a different handset just to be on the safe side ... i can't keep doing this!.
