Any centralised details on troublesome DVD's to rip ?

Hi,

I am ripping my DVD collection to my NAS box (as some may know from previous posts here) and have come up agains some DVD's which are giving problems in either DVD Decrypter or Auto Gordian Knot. I am ripping to a single VOB and then converting to .avi (XviD) at 100% quality (reduces size of picture but also halves file size with minimal detail loss).

300 - AGK Sound out of sync
Minority report - AGK reports no sound track on ripped VOBS (playing vobs produces sound).
Batman - Dark Knight: Dvd Decrypter cannot read past the 3rd INFO file and errors. DVD Srink has the same problem.
Meet the Robinsons: Dvd Decrypter read error.

As I have over 250 DVD's to rip I was wondering if there was some central list of problem to rip DVD's and solutions (if any). Failures cause a big waste of time and I would prefer to put problem discs to last so I can get the bulk out of the way.

Many thanks
RB

Some recent DVDs have additional protection that require another step in the ripping process.
Have a look for Ripit4me which you use to create a .psl file that DVD Decryter can process.

Will take a look.

Thanks Anthony.

Update:

Batman: The Dark Knight still fails on info3 and causes Ripit4me to GPF.
Meet the Robinsons also failed.

I have found Ideal DVD Copy which has worked for Meet the Robinsons and am now trying with Batman. Unfortunately it is 10 copies then buy software.

Mod Comment: Guys discussion on the removal of copy protection is not allowed, any further repetition and infractions will be issued.
