Now I'm not a big fan of the plex clients or their ethos, howerver this:
Plex Media Server does DLNA
is very interesting - I've tested it with my xbox 360 and it does work - it allows full, transcoded where needed, playback of video & music.

Where its very interesting is integrating it with my xbmc machines - to allow simple library sharing and one time scraping etc - at the moment it kinda works, I can browse my film library with full artwork (from plex), but playback doesn't work, it won't be far off tho
