TV Tuner Conflict when resuming from sleep? - Dual DVB-T

I'm ditching Sky and am trying to get Media Center configured so it is Wife friendly in time for the 'switchover' when my Sky sub runs out.

I'm running x64 Windows 7 and have just bought a Peak dual DVB-T PCI tuner.

The problem I have is when I wake Media Center from sleep live TV stops working and I just get a message saying 'TV Tuner Conflict'.

e.g. I put the Media Center to sleep on a night, next morning I turn it on and it wont work, unless I close Media Center and open it again. It records programs when I put it in sleep mode though?

The other thing thats got me puzzled is that the TV Tuner card is meant to have FM radio but when I go to radio in Media Center it says theres no hardware for FM radio?

I really need to get the TV card working after sleep if I'm to have any chance of the wife accepting this as a substitute for the Sky Box

Are you only using MC viewing software or do you have other apps active -Hyper Media Center?

Are you sure both tuners are installed and working?

I can't be much more help because I use 32bit and it works(!) predictably.

I have to thank you on one issue: I have a blackgold dual tuner which doesn't have an FM tuner feature. I selected Radio on W7MC (never done it before) and it tuned and found all the usual stations! How strange.

Well I removed HYper Media Center and installed MCE standby tool and it now works!

Still no radio tuner but I can live without that. A lad at work said that he had the same problem with the radio tuner then one day it just appeared on his media center.

Good news about the MCE standby tool: I use it but I'm not sure if it's been acredited for W7 at all.

You know: when I installed W7MC I don't recall the radio feature working but it does now so maybe it was thsame for me as your colleague. I have found that as time goes by there appears to be more features or smoother operation (may just be my imagination).

I think the 'Radio' feature in Media Center is for FM Radio only.

For DVB-T radio stations (such as those on Freeview), they just appear under the Guide with the rest of the TV channels.

I have had the same issue with the card but get around it by closing and re-opening media center. Maybe when I get around to updating my bios it'll sort out my sleep issue and that'll resolve the problem like it did for TRIXXY DIXXY.
