Ripping Warner Bros DVD's?
Why the hell won't these rip properly?
Used DVDFAB, but have the same problem with both. Using IFO mode to rip the discs, when i play back from the beginning, the video starts about 1 minute in, and sound kicks in about 30 seconds later. If i press previous chapter, the film starts from 0.00, but again, the sound takes 30 seconds to kick in. I don't have this problem with films from other studios.
Most frustrating.
I'm ripping The Dirty Harry Collection and Lethal Weapon Boxset, so if anybody has any tips they could offer  
Using TT v2.6 for playback.

Have you tried installing AnyDVD? I found that this worked for a hand full of my own DVD's that I was unable to back up. The link is in the main HTPC thread. I use this and DVD Shrink and so far haven't found anything it can't cope with.
AnyDVD currently can be downloaded as a fully working trial with a 21 day trial period (Theydon Bois - might want to update this in your thread - says 30 days there).

Well, changing from Theatertek to Media Player, and everything is ok 
Guess, i'll have to stick to MP for the moment.

Why not?
If its ok to mention DVDFab, why can't i mention the other piece of software?

I have just read up on DVDFAB, and I dont really think that is ok to discuss either.
Why?
The whole thing about owning a HTPC is still not quite cut and dry regarding the process of backups, and with all of us just wanting to rip our collections to drives for easier use we have to resort to applications that are capable of removing a layer of protection to do so.
The first software mentioned not only ripped a DVD, but removed copyright protection as well, all in one program - meaning that movie studios deemed it as highly capable of piracy and ordered it removed where they could. DVDFab seems to also do exactly the same thing as well, meaning that falls under the same catagory.
Admitidly AnyDVD + Clone DVD do the same thing but are seperate programs (which seems to be the main point) and each have uses individually (AnyDVDHD is practically invaluable for HDCP handshaking issues) - a very 'light' excuse I know, but one that can be used.
