The Consumer Electronics Show 2009 is coming.

Between January 8^th and 11^th, 2009, we will be bringing you video coverage of the many new products being released by the major AV manufacturers.

Hello and good day to all,

I am so looking forward to your thorough coverage of the CES friends.

I can imagine yourselves making a few bloopers in doing the reviews of this special event, but it's worth it.

Well all I can say, is that I deeply appreciate the guys who really work hard at bringing all of the forum members all of the news.

Thanks from me to all of your team for keeping us up to date with all that's happening in the industry.

I hope we'll see some new info regarding the Oppo BDP-83.

The diary is filling up fast with product to see and we are waiting for the major announcements on Wednesday when the press conferences are held. This should be our schedule if things go to plan.

Wednesday 7th January - Press day. We plan to film each press conference and provide the highlights within about 6-8 videos. These will be posted asap and should be live Thursday morning UK time (Remember we are 8hrs behind)

Thursday 8th - Sunday 11th - Full coverage from the showfloor with the big products announced as well as the gems we are bound to find. We plan at least two videos a day, or more if we have the time to get around quick enough. The show is huge! Each days coverage should appear in the morning UK time.

As well as the videos we will do our best to bring you the biggest breaking news in text form where we think its unmissable.

So we begin our marathon trip out later today and hope you enjoy the coverage, stay tuned!!

Save a slot on the 8th Phil - some amateur sleuths seem to reckon that's when Oppo will make an announcement.

I hope you have enough disc space to cover it all - it looks to be a busy year.

Guys, first brief reports for you in the news area. Biggest news so far, Pioneer have just cancelled their press conference - no reasons given just yet.
