The project was first mooted in February 2007 and amusingly dubbed Picnic. The proposal was that Sky's channels on Freeview (Sky News, Sky Three and Sky Sports News) would be replaced with higher-value encrypted channels (Sky One, Sky Sports 1, Sky Movies and a shared Discovery/children's channel). read more » |

Good, they alread have their own platform, Freeview is about being free and not hogging the space up with sub. channels.

Ofcom 1 - Sky 0. I am glad that Sky didnt expand its greed roots on Freeview.
