Expect to watch the London Olympics in high definition on a Freeview HD box. That’s the hopeful message from Greg Bensberg, the principal advisor on broadcasting at Ofcom. Think he's exactly 3 weeks too early in this announcement. Freesat yes, Freeview no! Not that I will be watching, on any medium...

I just hope the bbc gets it's bloody act together by 2012, with it's frankly appalling hd picture at present, it can't get much worse.
BBC HD is not up to the required standard

It's also not going to happen if ofcom sell of all of the spectrum to the mobile companies as expected.
