Post Ofcom shuts door on protected HDTV spectrum space

Ofcom has categorically ruled out ring-fencing any of the spectrum space, due to be freed up when the UK’s analogue TV services are shut down in 2012, for high definition TV services. All this government can see is the huge amount of money that the mobile companies are going to throw at this.

Once again they have listened to the cash till rather than the public.
