Why not also on Virgin cable??? Virgin needs to watch that mainstream channels don't bypass them. Having an option to view C4 in HD would be a massive incentive for me to move. We are talking everyday viewing and not just the odd special feature.

Sweet. The more HD channels the better. I would imagine if it being simulcast then it will be like Sky One HD which has some shows in HD.
Anyone know what shows on Channel 4 are shot in HD?
MTV also launching a channel also sounds good but I can't recall the last time I watched something on MTV. HD music videos would be cool though.

CH4 in HD  This is more important than ITV which I seldom watch apart from ( forced) Corry.

I think we will be all keeping an eye on CH4 American program buying which seems to be quite good so far.

It's good news, but I hope we don't end up with so many HD channels that they decide to wind down the bit rates and end up making them look rubbish.

I wonder how much of it will be true HD rather than upscaled SD as is shown on sky one HD at the moment.
