TEAC launches new CD and stereo tuner hi-fi with flat panel speakers

TEAC has announced the introduction of an elegant new slim CD/Stereo Tuner complete system – the Model CD-X9.

Finished in eye-catching matt silver, the CD-X9 claims to offer ‘unparalleled performance per pound’ and is designed to make an ultraconvenient desktop or wall-mounted audio system for the modern home.

Featuring aluminium honey-comb diaphragm NXT flat panel speakers – just 2.5” deep – and a 1” NXT Exciter, 4” Active Subwoofer, the CD-X9 has a vertical CD Drive Unit supporting CD, CD-R/RW and MP3 discs. It also incorporates a Quartz PLL Synthesized FM/AM/RDS stereo tuner - all in a 3.5” deep unit.

The TEAC CD-X9 is expected to retail at a suggested store price of around £180.
