Pioneer sues Samsung over plasma patents

Pioneer has reportedly filed a patent against Samsung claiming infringement of its patents relating to key plasma display technologies. The move follows an 18-month period of negotiation with the Korean maker. The patents (U.S. Patent numbers 5,182,489 and 5,640,068) relate to display brightness surface discharge.
