Samsung confirms Blu-ray firmware update
Samsung has confirmed that it will offer free firmware updates for its debut BD-P1000 Blu-ray player. Owners can either download the firmware from the internet and burn it to disc, or opt to order a disc from Samsung direct. The firmware is said to improve picture quality and build in support for BD Java interactivity.
