New projection screen developed that can be used in bright room

X-Screen has designed a projection screen that it claims is capable of being used in a bright, illuminated room.

X-Screen’s Monaco screen uses a revolutionary Daylight Thin-Film applied to a 4mm layer of hardened glass. This construction provides an optically flat surface that X-Screen says ensures the most accurate image quality.

TV monitors of all types are affected by reflected light from windows or lamps, which degrades picture quality. X-Screen’s thin-film solution eliminates reflections from other light sources, resulting, it’s claimed, in an image of exceptional definition, with rich colours, wide contrast range, deep blacks, and razor-sharp detailing all visible in a wide range of lighting environments.

The Monaco screen can be used with any type of projector (DLP, LCOS or LCD), while panel resolution, light output, and source connectivity can all be tailored to individual requirements, depending on the projector chosen. The guide retail price for the Monaco is: £1400 (1 x Screen).
