ViewSonic announces new LCD screens with world's fastest response time

Following is the press release from ViewSonic on its new LCD screens, which claim world-beating response times…

”ViewSonic, a worldwide leader in visual technologies, completes its fast response time range with the addition of the world’s first fast response time widescreen LCD and unveils the world’s first 2ms Response Time LCD.

Designed around ViewSonic unique ClearMotiv ™ technology, the VX range offers a variety of LCD monitors from 17’’ to 20’' with response times of 8, 3 and now 2ms. It stands out as the perfect choice for passionate gamers and multimedia enthusiasts who want to enjoy even the fastest games and movie action sequences completely free of distortion and in the best possible quality.

Current 3ms models VX724 and VX924 will be complemented from the beginning of November with the addition of the VX922, making ViewSonic the first company to offer a 19” LCD display with an amazingly fast 2ms (milliseconds) response time (grey-to-grey) to its customers. In addition, December sees the release in Europe of the ViewSonic VX2022 – which will be the world’s fastest 20” widescreen (16:10 aspect ratio) LCD display, featuring a response time of 3ms.

With the launch of these new models, ViewSonic will once again – as in the recent past with the 8 and 3ms response time LCD monitors – be first to market with groundbreaking performance breakthroughs.

The VX922 and VX2022 join ViewSonic’s existing range of VX series consumer LCD monitors consisting of:
* VX715 - 17’’m, 8ms – Soon to be upgraded to VX712 integrating “invisible” audio
* VX912 – 19’’m, 8ms - Soon to be upgraded to integrate “invisible” audio
* VX724 - 17”, 3ms
* VX924 - 19”, 3ms.”
