Creative launches trio of AV speaker packages for PCs

Creative has announced three new sets of speakers designed to boost your PC audio experience. According to Creative, ‘the new speakers will provide optimized solutions for your entertainment needs with a modern design style. Whether you play games, watch DVDs or listen to music on your PC you can choose the best speakers to suit your home environment and get maximum audio impact.’

The three new systems are:
* GigaWorks ProGamer G500: This £200 5.1 surround sound system boasts THX certification, 310 W RMS of power and unusual flexibility in satellite positioning ensure. Creative recommends you combine them with one of the new Sound Blaster X-Fi sound cards

* Inspire T3030: You can listen to music on your PC or plug in your MP3 player to this £40 2.1 speaker system. Creative claims that high-impact bass, advanced tweeters and mid-range drivers provide a full rich sound across the audio range, while the small footprint on the satellites frees up desktop space.

* Inspire T6060: This £60 5.1 surround sound system is designed to be set up with your PC or partner a range of home systems, such as your TV or Hi-Fi. Satellites can be wall-mounted, and Creative again suggests combining them with one of the new Sound Blaster X-Fi sound cards.
