AFAIK - It upscales and upconverts all and any video to 1080p...

Useful for these HDMI switching receivers.

Now, the quesiton is - is it any good at de-interlacing?

I have seen one thread from the US that basically rubbishes the company that makes it, although I don't think anyone's actually seen it in operation yet.

I, for one, would be very interested to know if any of the august members of this board who know lots of stuff that I don't about all this malarkey have an opinion, informed or not? And, to circumvent linguistic pendantry - what that opinion might be
