Sky to deliver new parental controls by the end of the month

Sky has announced that by the end of September parents in millions of households across the UK and Ireland will have greater control over their children's TV viewing, as Sky's new Parental Control features become available to all customers.

The free upgrade enables parents to restrict access to all channels all the time, or just after 8pm, as well as removing all listings for adult channels from the Sky Guide.

The new controls are in addition to the existing ratings and spending limits that are already available via the Parental Control facility.
