Sky launching new interactive football game on Sky Sports next week

Sky has announced that it’s launching a new interactive quiz as part of a changed Monday night programming roster on Sky Sports 1.

The quiz – dubbed Playball - starts this Monday (15th August). It will be presented by Ian Payne, and feature a quick-fire quiz for football fans, scheduled either side of the night's live Ford Monday Night Football; at 7.30pm and 10.15pm.

Sky digital viewers can play at either time by pressing the red button on their remote handset then selecting Playball from the on-screen menu.

The quiz, which is free to access, can then be played on your own or with a group of friends. Contestants test their knowledge against the clock so the more they know, the faster they are, the higher they score.

Different rounds of the quiz include; 'Penalty Puzzler' where you put yourself in the keeper's shoes, 'Time Tunnel' where you guess the year, and 'Soccer Showdown' where the goals come thick and fast.

If players wish to submit their score - at a cost of 50 pence in the UK and 75c in ROI - they enter a draw where a range of prizes include PREMPLUS Season Tickets.
