Playstation 3 vs. Xbox 360

Maybe I'm getting long in the tooth for all this as after playing through 4 generations of consoles I'm now content with my consoles (xbox) performance as a games machine and - spare room - DVD player.

Forking out £400 + for probably 1 AAA title, Console and xtra controller + DVD remote to improve graphics and 3d worlds that I'm already content with just doesn't do it for me.

Maybe it's just me, I lookforward to hearing the sales figures when their launched.

I'm still pretty cheesed off with the fact that the Xbox dropped steeply in price weeks after I bought one on release day......
I will be waiting this time around and it's gonna take more than HALO3 to make my buy one, HALO2 was boring beyond belief.

i dont think MS and Sony will have such sales this time round, too many people happy with PC, PS2 and Xbox without the need to go buy yet another box

You'd be surprised! I bet the PS3 will sell like hot cakes. They will keep lowering the price until they hit a figure which keeps supply, demand and profit steady.

It only takes a few demos to get people interested- assuming that it will be much better than the PS2 of course.

So hmmm what should I buy?

Well 360 has the halo, but PS3 has DMC4. Okay I am gonna buy PS3

Why cause PS3 has better graphics and has 8 cores in total. And it has also equiped with Linux and u can create your own games on PS3!!
Oh u can also play MP4, Bluray, HD, and others too!!!
I heard that PS3 makers are making a game just like the Halo franchise so Thats Why PS3 owns Xbox 360 man !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

well looking at the details of the ps3 and the picture of the ps3 controller (old boomarang bodge up) then this report is way too old to do any "ps3 vs 360" report or to use for anything else credable
