Following an apparently warm reception given to the recently launched Art 46 LED, Loewe is introducing a new screen size to the rather fancy looking Art LED TV range in the 37-inch Art 37 LED.

The TV can stream audio and video files stored anywhere on a home network as well as access the internet, thanks to Loewe’s new MediaNet portal. In terms of picture technology Loewe are touting Edge LED Backlighting, automatic optical picture control(OPC) and video auto-dimming (VBD+) as selling points although marketing bullet point features such as these instantly arouse our suspicions! There's 100Hz picture processing too.

There's an option to include an integrated DR+ hard disk for PVR duties and the integrated speakers boast an output of 2x20 watts, plus 40 watts for the integrated subwoofer, which is unusually powerful for a modern day TV.

The Art 37 LED is available now in a choice of High Gloss Black, Chrome Silver or Mocha finish options. Suggested retail prices start at £1,795 (High Gloss Black and Chrome Silver), rising to £2,195 with the additional DR+ hard drive installed (the Mocha finish option costs an additional £100).

We're still badgering Loewe to provide us with review samples so we can see if the rather high pricing can be justified by more than some superior styling, for ourselves.
