Audyssey Announce the Bass Equaliser

Audyssey will shortly be launching The Bass Equaliser which is due to start shipping in July.

The new unit will have double the resolution of any other bass equalisers using XT technology and will also benefit from the use of the Pro Set up kit.

The Pro Set Up kit uses a high quality factory calibrated mic and pre amp that has been individually matched to a reference £3000 reference microphone. The result is a far more accurate analysis of your listening rooms acoustics than is possible with the microphone supplied with Audyssey enabled Receivers and other bass correction devices.

The set up software is run from a PC allowing up to 32 readings of your room to be taken resulting in a more accurate mapping of your systems bass response.

The Bass Equaliser is expected to retail for £895. The set up kit which is required for setting up the Sound Equaliser and for achieving optimum results from any Audyssey XT enabled Receiver costs £400.

I special introductory “installed price” of £995 is available to the first 10 Forums members who would like to have this product installed and calibrated for them by a HAA approved installer. Please note this excludes travelling costs.

Attached is a pdf of the Bass Equaliser.
