Imon Display & MediaPortal

Hi all,
Was just browsing a while ago , as you do, and came across the new revamped Soundgraph forums. Click here.

The bit that might be of real interest to anybody who hasn't been able to get the MediaPortal minidisplay plugin working properly is that an Imon Manager update scheduled for July 30th will include -
" [New Feature] The MediaPortal media information will be supported."

I assume/hope that this will work the same as the Imon Imedian program and display track info etc.

At last it seems Soundgraph are starting to listen to what their customers want , and are also going to keep us informed about future updates and features.

That would be me then. Thanks for the heads up - I will give it a try when it is released.

(5) [New Feature] The feature of making dark or turnning off the FrontView during video playback will be supported.

If any thing, I would prefer my display to be brighter - the contrast is not good enough to read at 10', while my pretend Amp is.

Also on the list of future updates is BluRay playback using their Imedian HD program (No release date for this).
I might install Imedian to see how it looks, but I can't see myself ditching MediaPortal any time soon

You got in before me, I was just about to post this

I'm glad they're taking their time getting it right and not just rushing it out.
I'd rather it worked correctly from the beginning than have something that needs endless updates and bug fixes, even if it takes a few more weeks !

totally agree with you on that.
mediaportal for me has almost been 100% bug free.
cant wait for vfd on my htpc case to display everything correctly
