They all did have a limit. Check small print. Thats why i pay a "proper" provider who does not have limits. Watch if you hammer your connection, they will throttle you!

Re: Sky scraps 250GB download limit on top broadband package

the small prints on the bottom of the sky broadband page still says:

"Sky Broadband: Minimum subscription 12 months. You must be a UK active residential Sky TV subscriber throughout your Sky Broadband subscription. Monthly usage limits: Base - 2GB; Mid - 40GB; Max - Unlimited subject to Fair Use Policy; "

so when will the removal of the limit start? £10 for the Max package with truly no limits is good deal for existing sky subscribers, I'm paying £15 a month for my 1MB line, used to be truely no limits, but FUP started a few months ago, & I've suffered throttling to 6-7kbs 3 times already

when I was 'throttled' by Orange the stated it was to make it fairer for everyone else living nearby! Apparently my 2 next door neighbours who are septuganarians must download also!

Re: Sky scraps 250GB download limit on top broadband package

I'd much prefer it if broadband companies advertised download limits, rather than saying something like "it's unlimited (limited to 250GB)". Can't be unlimited and limited at the same time. Rant rant rant grrrrr.....
