Correct linkhere....though whats the betting the new HD movie channels take the place of Screen 1 & 2...?
Sometimes more may not be better...though I'll reserve actual judgement until after the event - though I'm sure some won't.

More HD film channels are cool but I can't really see myself watching Sky Real Lives though.

I do hope that more channels go HD soon and channels like Sky One HD get more HD shows.

Ah interesting. I actually dropped the movie package due to the lack of HD content. I think I'll be signing up again now.

Just out of interest, how much does it cost to get the HD movies? Anyone know if you have to sign up to the full sky movies package?

That's a shame as I get Eurosport HD, Sky Arts HD and a few others without subscribing to the relevant SD package.

Generally by the time a film gets broadcast in HD I've already got it on Blu-Ray, if it's any good. So for me, extra movie channels aren't all that interesting. What I'd really like to see is more of the US TV series that are made in HD being broadcast in HD, and more sports events being filmed in HD in the first place. Is anyone else pig sick of Sky Sports HD output largely consisting of tarted-up SD on many evenings?

I also can't work out why HD is being wasted on 'Real Lives' as none of the programmes listed really benefits from being in high def. I'm happy to be corrected on this argument, but I can't believe that the market demographic likely to watch that channel regularly will either have HD or if they have, think that being in HD is a deal clincher.
