PMC monitors the Olympics 08
Press release
Quote:
The BBC & NBC broadcasts of the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing will be monitored on PMC loudspeakers.
Gearhouse Broadcast have been supplied with five DB1S-A active monitoring systems by PMC’s leading broadcast equipment dealer, Total Audio, for the BBC’s TV coverage in the Chinese capital. NEP Visions have also opted for PMC, with DB1S-A and the larger TB2S-A 5.1 monitoring systems for the U.S. broadcast for NBC.
NEP Visions head of sound, Paul Fournier commented directly from the newly completed media centre in Beijing;
“We chose DB1S-A 5.1 and TB2S-A 5.1 surround systems for their clear natural and un-fatiguing character”. He added; “Their compact ‘on the road’ size and weight were also very important in this situation and will become part of NEP VISIONS Fly away stock for future projects”
